- VU meter buffer + peak Led allows for an easy neat way to turn cheap dc type VU meters into working VU meters with PEAK LED. It is also extremely useful for buffering a real VU meter as it isolates the Total Harmonic Distortion caused by the internal rectifiers in the VU meter. The buffer will drop the output THD of most audio circuits running VU meters directly another decimal point which is a great improvement. VU Buffer can run on any DC voltage from 9v to 36v.
