The Fet-Boost is a high quality, low noise mic preamp. it allows sound optimization for ribbon mics and dynamic mics. The electronic components are housed in a robust metal chassis with a balanced female XLR input and a balanced XLR output, rugged enough for home, studio or live use.
Very useful and appreciated to compensate for the losses of long cable lengths.
The Fet-Boost circuit uses 48v phantom power, but does not pass power to the microphone and has protection for this one.
